Representatives from Resi Ventures, Shadforth, Oska and Oliver Hume have gathered to mark the start of construction at Bloom Hervey Bay.
Resi Ventures awarded local civil contractor Shadforth with the $4.5 million contract to build the first 3 stages.
Victorian developer Resi Ventures launched the 168-lot “Bloom” late last year on the corner of Chapel & Madsen Rds, Nikenbah with the first stage already sold out.
The initial off-market sales campaign saw 16 lots sold to a range of local and interstate downsizers, retirees and young families. Subsequent releases now have current sales totalling $10 million.
The latest Bottlebrush Release is selling from $222,000 and has just been released to a long queue of buyers waiting for their opportunity to secure a block at the estate. The first 6 homesites in this release range in size from 525m2 up to 827m2
Oliver Hume Marketing agent Nathan Tertis said the popularity of the estate was due to its prime location close to the town centre and 3 minutes from the medical precinct and 12 minutes from the airport.
“It is a popular housing region 10 minutes from everything in Hervey Bay and is even attracting attention from the Noosa region due to its affordability and its ease of access!
“Bloom is also very well priced in the local market and the large blocks are also very attractive,” he said.
Mr Tertis said with prices starting from an affordable $222,000 the estate is just 10 minutes from downtown Hervey Bay and its many lifestyle attractions.
“You can jump in your car and be in central Hervey Bay in a few minutes to have a meal, go shopping, launch your boat, fish or do some whale watching,” he said.
Resi Ventures has developed a number of successful housing estates in Melbourne and regional Victoria and Bloom is its first venture in the Queensland market.
Resi Ventures Director and Co-Founder, Mr Khurram Saeed said his company had undertaken a detailed study of how people live in the idyllic Hervey Bay region to ensure the blocks catered for the unique sub-tropical lifestyle just a few hours from Brisbane and on the doorstep to Fraser Island.
He said Hervey Bay was selected for development due to its lifestyle, rapid population growth and significant infrastructure investment.
“Bloom provides every resident of Bloom the chance to live in a tropical paradise in their dream home with room for a shed for boats and caravans and plenty of space for a pool,” he said.
Mr Saeed said with construction now underway titles are expected for the first three stages mid-2024.
